Research by social psychologist Amy Cuddy suggests that adopting a "power pose”; standing tall with your head held high, feet firmly grounded, and hands on your hips; for just two minutes can boost your confidence and reduce stress.

One effective way to harness the power of body language is through mirror work, where you consciously observe and adjust your posture in front of a mirror. With continual practice, this not only helps you become more comfortable with holding confident stances but also trains your brain to adopt these postures whenever you need a confidence boost. 

Think of mirror work as an anchor, a tool to ground you into your desired state of confidence. By regularly engaging in this practice, you create a mental and physical cue that you can rely on to swiftly bring you back to a place of self-assuredness and poise whenever needed.

  • Eye Contact: 

Maintain steady eye contact with yourself in the mirror. This practice helps convey confidence and sincerity in interactions, building trust and connection

Practicing these cues through mirror work can set the tone for positive interactions and leave a lasting impression.
